Description:

Provides general and specialized medical, dental, surgical, psychiatric, nursing, and ancillary services for acute and chronically ill eligible Veterans; Veterans requiring hospitalization are assessed, stabilized, and transferred to either local facilities or to the Gainesville or Lake City VA Medical Centers according to the urgency of their needs.

Hours:

Monday-Friday: 06:30 am-05:30 pm, Saturday (Radiology only): 08:00am-12:00 Noon.

Eligibility:

Serves those with active military duty in any combat theater or area of hostility, those who have provided direct emergent medical care or mortuary services, while serving on active military duty, to the casualties of war, or served as a member of an unmanned aerial vehicle crew that provided direct support to operations in a combat zone or area of hostility.
Also serves Vietnam Era Veterans who have accessed care at a Vet Center prior to January 1, 2004. Copy of military discharge papers (DD-214 or other separation documents) and Social Security number required.
