Provides on-site advocacy at the courthouse to assist victims in filing for injunctions for protection, safety planning, crisis intervention, accompanying victims to court proceedings, and overall advocacy within the legal system. Advocates receive a copy of every domestic violence police report in Clay County to contact each adult victim to offer services; the advocates are not lawyers and are unable to provide legal advice or representation.
Hours:
Monday-Friday: 09:00 am-05:00 pm.
Intake Process:
Client may call for information, but those who have filed a police report regarding domestic violence should be contacted by agency staff.

Eligibility:
Residents of Clay County who identify as victims of domestic violence or sexual assault.
