Description:

Offers a variety of mobility options, including public transportation, para-transit services, and mobility resources and management. Services include offering mobility resources and information regarding transportation services, direction on connecting with public transit networks throughout Northeast Florida, planning for driving retirement, travel training, and driver safety courses. Paratransit services offered for St. Johns County residents who are transportation disadvantaged and/or are over 60 years of age. The Sunshine Bus services North and North-West areas of St. Johns County, between World Gold Village and Palencia.

Hours:

Monday-Friday: 07:00 am-06:00 pm.
Sunshine Bus Customer Service available Monday-Friday: 08:30 am-05:00 pm.

Intake Process:

Assessment for services and evaluation must be made prior to the first scheduling for transportation for disabled individuals.

Program Fees:

For Sunshine Bus Company: $2.00 per one-way trip, $4.00 daily, and $30.00 for a monthly pass.
A 50% discount are available to Seniors (60+), Persons with Disabilities, Medicare/Medicaid card holders, and Students.

Private transportation fees: $2.65 for wheelchair loading or other non-wheelchair electronic loading

Duval County non-emergency medical transportation: $7 per one-way trip.
