Description:

Offers Adult Inpatient Stabilization Services at two locations in Jacksonville, Florida. These services provide short-term stabilization for individuals aged 18 or older experiencing mental health crises, requiring a structured and supervised therapeutic environment. Services at both locations include comprehensive assessments, psychiatric evaluations, physical examinations, medication management, individual and group therapy, educational groups, social rehabilitation, activity options, discharge planning, and referrals to case management and other follow-up services.

Hours:

Inpatient services are available 24/7, including weekends and holidays. Inpatient admissions are accepted at all times with no screening cut-off.

Intake Process:

Call or walk in to begin initial intake. If calling the main line, select prompt extension '2' for Emergency Services; if unanswered, the call will continue to ring until it reaches security.
Those who begin intake by phone must present in person for a full evaluation. After 4:30 PM, access is available through the back of the building, as the outpatient entrance will be closed.

Program Fees:

Accepts most types of insurance, including Medicare and Medicaid. An income-based sliding scale is available.

Languages:

English; other language interpreter service available as needed.

Eligibility:

Serves Baker Act-eligible adults age 18 or older who reside in Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau, or Saint Johns County.
