Description:

Mental Health Resource Center (MHRC) offers Adult Inpatient Stabilization Services at two locations in Jacksonville, Florida. These services provide short-term stabilization for individuals aged 18 and older experiencing mental health crises, requiring a structured and supervised therapeutic environment. Services at both locations include comprehensive assessments, psychiatric evaluations, physical examinations, medication management, individual and group therapy, educational groups, social rehabilitation, activity options, discharge planning, and referrals to case management and other follow-up services.

Hours:

Inpatient services are available 24/7, including weekends and holidays, while outpatient services operate Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. When calling the main line, select prompt extension '2' for Emergency Services; if unanswered, the call will continue to ring until it reaches security. Inpatient admissions are accepted at all times with no screening cut-off, and individuals must present in person for evaluation. After 4:30 PM, access is available through the back of the building, as the outpatient entrance will be closed.
