Description:

This is a completely separate, federally funded, but locally operated rental assistance programs established by US HUD for qualifying low-income families. MHA is conventional housing known as Section Eight. Their application process is the same for each program and at the conclusion of the process and at your discretion you may be placed on a either or both waiting lists. Preference is given to the elderly, near elderly, and working families.

Hours:

Mon-Thu - 9:00am to Noon and 1:00pm to 5:00pm

Please call prior to submitted an application to see if the waiting list is open to accept applications

Application is required. An application can be found on-line (www.machsat.org) The housing authority requests applications not be submitted through e-mail. Application are only accepted with a scheduled appointment. Prior to scheduled appointment, you must have all the documentation listed on the application that applies to an individual or family.
