Eligibility:

Meet established income requirements
Establish a need for adequate housing
Ability to pay for mortgage, taxes and insurance
Commit to 250 sweat equity hours per individual
Attend a home-buyer workshop and credit counseling
Live and/or work in Saint Johns County for a year
Other requirements may be applied

Willing to provide 400 hours of work toward building a home, St. Johns County resident, provide proof of regular income and financial need(applicant cannot obtain conventional home financing), ability to make monthly mortgage payments (including taxes and insurance) and a downpayment of $350. For the children's scholarship fund, they must be a member of a Habitat owned household.
