Description:

This is a voluntary program for students who have been suspended from school as a consequence of inappropriate behavior. This program will provide behavioral and academic help for a period of three to ten days to enable students to continue the learning process in a safe, structured and supervised environment.

Hours:

Mon-Fri - 7:30am to 4:30pm

Intake Process:

Call Alternative Education and Behavioral Support Department
Transportation: Parent or Guardian will be responsible for student transportation to and from the center. Parents may choose one of the five locations Call for information regarding location of alternative centers
Lunch: Student is responsible for bringing a bag lunch

None.

Languages:

English.

Eligibility:

Students grades six to 12 (Middle and High School)
Be suspended for a minimum of three days in which an alternative school placement is not recommended
Committed a Class Two or Three offense, which normally would result in out of school suspension
Have parental consent for enrollment and parental participation in orientation activity
