This is a hospital that is equipped with licensed helicopter pads and staffed by specially trained trauma surgeons and anesthesiologists who are available 24 hours to treat critically injured victims of traffic accidents, fires, gunshot wounds or other injuries. This is a state approved Level I adult and pediatric trauma center in Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia.
