Description:
Provides assistance for clients living in Nassau County who are enrolled in the Family Self-Sufficiency Program, which provides support with employment, financial education, and household management. Employment services include GED preparation, enrollment in vocational or college courses, tuition, books and uniform costs, job skill development, and job placement. Financial education services include financial literacy training and income tax preparation. Household management services include limited financial assistance when funds are available, transportation services, food provisions, and childcare assistance.
