Description:

Provides support and assistance for individuals of all ages with autism spectrum disorders, dual-sensory impairments and related disabilities. Services include parent training, functional behavioral assessment, behavior support plans, training events and workshops, referrals to service providers, funding sources, and family support through counseling, support groups, and social skills groups. Services provided free of charge to individuals with autism spectrum disorders and related disabilities, to their families, and to the professionals who work with them.

Eligibility:

Individuals of all ages diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD), including autistic disorder, pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified (PPD-NOS), Rett's disorder, Asperger syndrome and childhood disintegrative disorder and individuals with related disabilities, including dual-sensory impairments (deaf-blind), sensory loss plus another disabling condition.
