Description:

Provides weatherization services in Putnam County to make homes more energy-efficient and reduce the cost of utilities. Components of the program include testing air infiltration, improving heating and air conditioning methods, replacing or repairing insulation, as well as other energy-saving strategies, like replacing shower heads, and insulating the floors and attic.

Hours:

Mon-Fri - 8:00am to 5:00pm

Intake Process:

Pick-up and complete application at the office, then return for an intake appointment

Eligibility:

The home must be in good condition with no large holes in the walls, ceiling or flooring, no roof leaks, and no mold/mildew, lead paint or asbestos

Families must be at or below 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guideline. Preference given to owner occupied homes, elderly (60 and older), physically disabled residents, and families with children five years of age and under
