Description:

Florida Literacy Coalition provide programs offered by a variety of organizations including regular and adult schools, libraries, correctional facilities, businesses and corporations that provide reading, writing, speaking, computation and/or problem solving skills for adults who cannot read or write at a functional level with the objective of ensuring that they have the skills necessary to find and keep decent jobs, support their children's education and participate actively in civic life.





The Florida Literacy Center promotes, supports, and advocates for the effective delivery of quality adult and family literacy services in the state of Florida. A trainer referral specialist provides on call information about education programs and volunteer opportunities throughout the state.

Hosts the State Literacy Resource Center with a special emphasis on assisting community based literacy organizations with their training and program development needs.
