Description:

Provides weatherization services to eligible households in Duval County to make homes more energy-efficient and reduce the cost of utilities. Components of the program include testing air infiltration, improving heating and air conditioning methods, replacing or repairing insulation, as well as other energy-saving strategies, like replacing shower heads, and insulating the floors and attic.

Eligibility:

Household income may not exceed 200 percent of the Federal Poverty Guideline for the current year
Preference is given to elderly (60 and older), physically disabled residents, and families with children under 12 with households that have repeated high utility bills due to insufficient energy systems
No Lean on the home
No outdoor services (roofing, electric or plumbing)
