AARP Caregiver Support - Fraud and Scam Prevention

Provides access to AARP's Fraud Watch Network Helpline, which is a free resource for AARP members and nonmembers to receive tips on how to spot a scam, concrete steps to avoid fraud, information about actions to take if you have experienced fraud, access emotional support from peers who have experienced fraud, receive guidance for families concerned that a loved one is being targeted by a scammer, and referrals to law enforcement and other agencies that investigate fraud.

Columbia County Crime Victims Crisis Intervention

The unit provides first responder service at any time needed in addition to offering service in the office setting; they provide crisis intervention and advocate for the needs of the victim and provide crisis counseling, emergency legal advocacy, follow up contact, information and referral, outreach services, personal advocacy, telephone contacts, transportation and victims compensation claims.
