Typing/Keyboard Proficiency Tests

Programs that administer timed tests which assess an individual's typing skills including their speed (generally words per minute) and accuracy. More formal keyboard proficiency tests also assess general knowledge (Microsoft Word, page setups, margins, fonts and the like), document processing, punctuation and spacing rules, capitalization rules, number rules and proofreader marks. A wide variety of typing speed tests are available online.
