The Epidemiology program is responsible for the surveillance and investigation of many of the reportable diseases, other than TB, STD, and HIV/AIDS. This includes enteric diseases, vaccine-preventable diseases, invasive bacterial diseases, viral hepatitis, arthropod-borne diseases, bio-terrorist agents, and outbreaks of disease.
