Description:
Provides reading, writing, and math classes, as well as financial literacy courses, for teens age 16 and older and adults through age 80 looking to improve their skills, prepare for a GED or job training program, or learn more about money, health, and computers. Small group classes meet twice a week for reading at an individual's own level and speed, or private tutoring or computer labs are available. Classes are held in multiple locations in downtown Jacksonville, and tutoring is scheduled for a public space that both suits the student and tutor. All services provided are at no cost. Call during operational hours to find out more information or schedule an assessment.
