Description:

Provides free mental health support from Peer Support Specialists to individuals ages 13 - 17 (teen program) and 18 and over experiencing a mental health crisis and actively seeking assistance. Services are also offered to friends and family members who are concerned for the safety of a loved one who may be at-risk for suicide. Programs offered include a Military & First Responder Peer Support program, which provides counseling and mental health support for police and law enforcement, firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) and paramedics, and emergency dispatch personnel. Support is available in-person, over the phone, or by video chat, requires no appointment (appointments are available for those that would prefer to make an appointment), and includes optional follow-up appointments for up to a year after enrollment. No cost weekly mental health support groups meet in-person only on Monday and Thursday from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. Mental Health Hydration weekly support group occurs every Monday & Thursday from 5:30pm - 6:30pm (No Group on Memorial Day 5/26, Juneteenth 6/19, Labor Day 9/1, Thanksgiving 11/27 and Christmas 12/25) this group is available in person only. (On Your 6 Military & First Responders Focused Group groups meet virtually only every Tuesday and Wednesday from 2:00pm - 3:00pm (No Group on New Year!€™s Day 1/1 and Veterans Day 11/11) (Link: tinyurl.com/Here-Tomorrow). Melanin minds black community groups occur the last Tuesday of each month from 5:30pm - 6:30pm and is available in person or virtually (hybrid) (Link: tinyurl.com/melaninmindsht). Teen support group is available on Tuesday's from 5:30pm - 6:30pm and is only available in person (Link: teens@heretomorrow.org).
